OOC: The phone call that ended the emo! [Oct. 8th, 2006|01:59 pm]
武蔵 厳, ムサシ

Musashi stared at his computer screen in utter confusion. His best friend's newest post was confusing the Hell out of him. Rather than be kept in the dark forever, he fished his cell phone out of his pocket and dialed the familiar number.

"Fucking old man," Hiruma greeted him, in a distinctly cooler tone than usual.

Musashi noticed the tone right away. So something really was up. He wasted no time, "What's your problem?"

"The fucking Hah Bros got their asses kicked by a broad, and now the fucking fishlips can't use his arm and the fucking toilet-brush head can't see worth shit. That's my problem!"

"Not that, the other thing." Musashi sighed, "Don't play with me."

"That? Oh, I need you to help dig out the extra parts for the coffee machine. You know, that fucking condensator bit. It's in with the emergency ammo store I think..."

"Not that!" Musashi sighed. "Why are you mad at me?"

"Take a fucking guess!" Hiruma snapped. "Team business going down, and you and the fucking manager are off at the cafe eating creampuffs and doing the whole soulful look thing - "

Musashi was silent, utterly shocked, then, to Hiruma's dismay, began to laugh.

"The hell's so funny?!"

"Y-you thought...bwahaha!!" Some sixth sense made Musashi pull the phone a little ways away from his ear, a split second before Hiruma's gun went off inches from his own reciever.

"Alright, alright, sorry..." Musashi coughed, trying to stop laughing. "But me and...her? Are you crazy? We're in the same class, we had a project to do. We turned it in yesterday...if you'll notice, we hadn't met since then."

"It's true. And I'd never go after her...you like her. That's just not right."

 "I fucking don't!"

"Don't start. Anyway, we aren't going out. Satisfied?"

Hiruma snorted. "Just get your ass over here, OK?"

"Right, right. Coming." Musashi sighed when Hiruma hung up and rubbed his temples. "Never a dull moment."
