It's been a long time since it was just me, Kurita, and Hiruma. Felt like middle school all over again. And since I have a lot more free time, I've played around online and figured out how to get pictures to work on this thing. Assuming all goes well, here goes:
Yesterday I met up with Hiruma downtown early in the morning to pick out the bike. I had it narrowed down to a few models and had my heart set on the Kawasaki Vulcan 2000:
But then Hiruma complained it was too black and that I'd look better on a bike with red trimming. He said something about Devil Bat colors too, but I think it was more an afterthought. During our mini scuffle, he pointed out the Vulcan 2000 Classic LT model as a compromise:
I hate to admit, but he's right. I spent more money than intended, but it was worth it. Despite the fighting, it was nice spending time with him outside of the clubhouse. Kurita met us at the barber shop that Hiruma made an appointment with. I could tell the big guy was disappointed that I didn't get an actual car when I showed him the brochure, but he was happy to see me happy, so it's all good. Maybe I was too carried away with the recent acquisition, but I got a haircut to look like someone who'd ride it (at least in my mind). Immediately following, we went out to lunch and walked off the food in the city:
So that's the new cut. I was annoyed with my bangs being too long, so a Mohawk works for me. This was the calm before the storm when Hiruma yelled at Kurita to not choke on his food since he was wolfing it down so fast. That and he was still
eating after we left the restaurant. ...I have no clue what I'm staring at, or maybe I was feigning ignorance of the whole ordeal. Same thing really.
Guys, we need to do this more often. It was my perfect kind of day and it was nice to enjoy it instead of miss it.
